The Booker T. Washington Community Center summer program offers a fun, relaxed atmosphere for developing and engaging our young, energetic participants. We provide a nutritious breakfast and snack Monday –Friday. The program also includes opportunities for swimming lessons (Mon-Thurs), bowling at Oakwood Bowl, roller skating, computer labs, story time, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor structured games, movies and ice cream at Braums.
The summer program is conducted during the months of June and July between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm Monday-Friday. These services are provided for all children between the ages of 4 and 17. We allow students ages 13 to 18 to sign up as student volunteers. This engaging program is only $100.00 per student for the 8 weeks. Scholarships are available. Applications are available mid-April to the end of school.
